This Privacy Policy describes the policies and procedures of AECORN Realty Inc. ("AECORN," "we," "us," or "our") regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information when you use our website at aecorn.ca (the "Service"). It also explains your rights under applicable Canadian law and how those rights are protected.

We collect and use your personal information to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act, S.C. 2000, c. 5 ("PIPEDA") and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation, S.C. 2010, c. 23 ("CASL").

Words with an initial capital letter have the meanings set out below. These definitions apply equally in the singular and the plural.

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:

• Account means a unique account created for you to access the Service or parts of the Service.
• Affiliate means an entity that controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with AECORN, where 'control' means ownership of 50% or more of the shares, equity interest, or voting securities.

• Cookies are small files placed on your computer, mobile device, or other device by a website that record certain details about your browsing activity on that site.

• Personal Information means any information about an identifiable individual, as defined under PIPEDA.
• Province refers to Ontario, Canada.
• Service refers to the Website.

Information from Third-Party Social Media Services. You may choose to register for or log in to the Service using the following third-party platforms:

AECORN collects and uses personal information only for purposes that a reasonable person would consider appropriate in the circumstances, and only to the extent necessary to fulfil those purposes. We may use your personal information to:

• Provide and maintain the Service, including monitoring usage
• Manage your account and enable access to registered-user features
• Fulfil or perform a contract with you, including any real estate service agreement
• Contact you by email, telephone, SMS, or other electronic means regarding updates, service-related communications, or security notices
• Send you news, special offers, or general information about goods, services, or events that may interest you — where you have provided consent as required by CASL
• Manage and respond to your requests
• Conduct data analysis, identify usage trends, and improve our Service, products, and marketing efforts
• Evaluate or conduct a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer, in which case your personal information may be among the assets transferred

AECORN complies with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). We will only send you commercial electronic messages (CEMs) — including newsletters, promotional emails, and marketing communications — if:

• You have provided express consent by opting in (e.g., by checking a consent box on a form); or
• We have implied consent based on an existing business relationship with you, as permitted under CASL.

Every CEM we send will:

• Clearly identify AECORN Realty Inc. as the sender, including our mailing address (Suite 202 A - 95 Mural St., Toronto) and contact information (info@aecorn.ca);
• Include a working unsubscribe mechanism that allows you to withdraw consent at no cost.

You may withdraw your consent to receive CEMs at any time by clicking the 'Unsubscribe' link in any email we send or by contacting us at info@aecorn.ca. We will process your unsubscribe request within 10 business days, as required by CASL.

Withdrawing consent to receive marketing communications will not affect your ability to use the Service or receive transactional messages (such as account confirmations, booking confirmations, and service updates).

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

• With Service Providers: We may share your personal information with third-party vendors who assist us in operating the Service, analyzing usage, or communicating with you. These providers are contractually required to handle your information only as directed by us and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
• For Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business, your personal information may be transferred to the acquiring entity. We will notify you before your personal information becomes subject to a materially different privacy policy.

• As Required by Law: We may disclose your personal information to comply with a legal obligation, respond to valid requests from public authorities (such as a court or government agency), or protect the rights, property, or safety of AECORN, our users, or the public.

AECORN retains your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law. We will retain and use your personal information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period, unless it is used to improve Service security or functionality, or we are legally required to retain it for a longer period.

When personal information is no longer required, we will securely destroy, delete, or de-identify it.

Your personal information may be processed at AECORN's operating offices in Toronto, Ontario and at the locations of our Service Providers, which may be outside of Canada. By submitting your personal information and consenting to this Privacy Policy, you acknowledge and agree to this transfer.

AECORN takes all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your personal information is handled securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy. No transfer of your personal information will occur to an organization or country unless adequate data protection controls are in place.

The security of your personal information is important to us. We use commercially reasonable physical, administrative, and technical safeguards to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Analytics. Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, to monitor and analyze use of the Service. Google Analytics collects usage data and may share it with other Google services. You may opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on available at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Email Communications. Resend. We use Resend to manage and deliver transactional and marketing emails. Resend processes your email address and related data on our behalf. Their Privacy Policy is available at https://resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.

The Service is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us immediately at info@aecorn.ca. We will take steps to remove that information from our systems.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites that are not operated by AECORN. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. We strongly advise you to review the privacy policy of every site you visit. AECORN has no control over and assumes no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services.

Under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you, subject to limited exceptions
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal information
• Withdraw consent to the collection, use, or disclosure of your personal information at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions
• Know what personal information we have collected, how it is being used, and to whom it has been disclosed
• Challenge AECORN's compliance with PIPEDA by filing a complaint

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Privacy Policy on this page and updating the 'Last Updated' date. Where required by law, we will notify you by email or by a prominent notice on the Service at least 30 days before the change takes effect.
